Favorite Player: Gabe Gross

There are so many reasons to collect Gabe Gross. He is a former Auburn Tiger. He played for the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays. He is a nice Christian example. I collect him for all 3 of those reasons.
I was lucky enough to see him play against the Rays while he was a Blue Jay. It was in the late innings, and the Rays had Carl Crawford at 3rd, and less than 2 outs and they were trying to get a rally going. The Jays put Gross in the game in leftfield, and sure enough, the Rays batter hits a flyball to Gross. I figured with his speed that Crawford would score easily on a Sac Fly. Gross caught the ball, and threw a strike to the catcher to get Crawford thrown out. I could see why Gross was a quarterback at Auburn. One of the greatest throws I had ever seen.
